In February of 2013 we spent three weeks traveling in South Africa. It is a wonderful country to travel in with children. Everywhere we went, the scenery was outstanding, the people friendly and the roads easy to navigate (with well-maintained roads and signs in English).  Highlights for us included safaris in Kruger National Park, the beautiful city of Cape Town, visiting Nelson Mandela’s cell on Robben Island, and hanging with penguins on the beach.
